i am working on a system composed by several ANT+ enabled sensors, where all their readings are supposed to be viewed in a iPhone trough a ANT+ key. My question is, is it necessary to certify the software that i am going to develop if i want to commercialize this system?

I'm asking this because the sensors and the key that i'm working with are all already ANT+ certified, and as so, do i also need to get a certification just for the software part of the system?      

The simple answer is yes. To have your product listed on the ANT+ product directory, we still need to certify your product. Developing your product based on a certified design is a good choice, as it will save your cost significantly on certification.
