Did you try the drivers on the website?

The drivers on our website for USB2 are signed.

If when installing the drivers you get a message stating the drivers are not signed, you are not using this official released version – you may need to browse to the location where you downloaded these drivers to make sure you are installing this version.

Note that the USB2 drivers are based on libusb. If you have previously installed unsigned drivers for something else that also uses libusb, it may be possible that is why you would be getting a warning.

Yes, USB2 drivers should also be available for Windows 8 via Windows Update

Please refer to this Tech FAQ for more details on Windows 8 ANT USB support

Thank you for the answer.

We have had a problem with the drivers for Windows 8 since the start of June this year. The drivers can't be found from the Windows Update. Do you have any ideas, why they cannot be found?

I downloaded the drivers from your download section and tried to use them directly, but i could not install them. Instead this was found from the Windows Event Log:

"Windows could not copy all of the files needed to install this device driver software. This sometimes happens when the driver software was not designed for this version of Windows."

Is that Windows 8 or Windows RT? Since the hardware is different, only Windows is supported.

I'm using libusb-win32 v 1.2.6.0 on windows 8 with USB2 stick http://sourceforge.net/projects/libusb-win32/files/libusb-win32-releases/1.2.6.0/libusb-win32-bin-1.2.6.0.zip/download After. download, you must run the wizard to create a driver and then choose "Install now". Zadig can also be used to change between various drivers http://zadig.akeo.ie/
