Hi,

I would like to develop wireless bridge chip based solution to an ANT device.
I need it to be low cost and low power consumption.
I want to use TI’s CC430 as the RF module combined with the CC2571 on the end point device.

What is the most suitable development kit?
I thought of using the EM430F6137RF900 dev kit combined with CC2571 module – would it be possible.

Also note that I already have the ANT+ BT Health and fitness aggregator kit which contains the
• ANT UIF board - USB stick
• C7 ANT Module - based on CC2571
Aggregator
• PAN13xxETU
• MSP430 Experimenter Board
- MSP430BT5190 device
- 6 pin jumper
Bluetooth connection
• TI wireless USB stick
MSP430 USB Debugging Interface
• MSP-FET430UIF

Is it useful for my needs or should I order the EM430F6137RF900 instead ?

Thanks,

Hi,

A development kit based upon the host MCU your system is going to use would be most appropriate, and as it seems the CC430 will be your MCU then something like the EM430F6137RF900 + CC2571 module would be a good fit.

That being said, I would recommend going to the TI E2E forums for more information on TI hardware and development platforms.

Cheers
