Hi,

for my project (http://www.thisisant.com/forum/viewthread/3981/) I want to try an ANT+ Usb Stick.
I found on ebay this one: http://www.ebay.it/itm/190840817853?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649

Is this usb stick a fully compatible ANT+ Device to read real time data becoming from heart rate chest?
Could I read up to 8 devices in the same time with it?

Is possible to extend action range - in the specs of the device I read:
Part Number: 010-10997-02

Specs:

Module: 2.4" W x 1.3" H x 0.4" D (62 mm x 34 mm x 11 mm)
Strap Length: Adjustable from 21" to 29.5" (533.4 mm to 749.3 mm)
Weight: 1.6 oz (45g)
Water Resistance: 98.7 ft (30 m)*
Battery: User-replaceable size CR2032 (3 volts)
Battery Life: Approximately 4.5 years (based on average use of 1 hour per day)
Operating Temperature: 23°F–122°F (-5°C–50°C)
Radio Frequency/Protocol: 2.4 GHz ANT wireless communications protocol
Range: 3 m
System Compatibility: ANT+

RANGE : 3m...
Exist a device with extended range like 10mt...?

Many thanks

It should be - according to the specs.

Range: it's mostly determined by the sender's transmission power (= hr strap in your case), not the receiver's sensitivity. HR straps tend to have low transmission power - which is usually adequate to cover the distance chest -> arm / bike handle bar.

Cheers,
