When I try to create a new channel item, I receive the following error.

"Config file does not exist or formatting is incorrect"

I have renamed the example config file to "config.txt" and it is in the same directory as the .exe

My System is: Windows 7 Pro SP1 (64 bit)

Also, the "Channel Window" does not display correctly on my screen.
See attached screen shot for details.
Also, the "Channel Window" cannot be re-sized.
FYI my monitor resolution is set for 2560x1440

Hi,

Thank you for the feedback on ObservANT. We've not seen that resolution issue before so we will look into getting that fixed soon.

As for the issue with config.txt, I've just done a fresh download from our website and tried renaming the example file from config_example.txt to config.txt and it is worked fine for me so I'm not sure what could be causing that. Did you make any other changes to config.txt? I'll attach my file, even though it should be identical.

Would you be able to post your config.txt here so I can have a look at it?

Thanks!

Thanks for the prompt reply.

Ok, I think I know what was happening:
Windows explorer is displaying the file "config.txt" without the file extension.
I think I renamed the config file and ended up with a file called "config.txt.txt" see screen shot Cmd.bmp,
and this caused the error.

Issue resolved thanks.
