Hi,

I am using Shared channel topology for ANT Tree network.

I have two masters and both have identical Channel parameters.

The Slave devices are in the range of both the master.

Please see the attached figure.

Now If both are powered on at the same time, so is there a possibility that the message by Master M2 to Slave node S4 having shared address 01 will received by slave node S1 (connected to M1)??

Q.2 As shown in figure, Consider a case when i powered ON all the Master and slave nodes and none of them is connected to master and all are in the range of both the master M1 and M2.
some how node S4 synced with M1 but i don't want that device to be Sync with M1, rather i want S4 to sync and connect with M2,

What can i do to prevent a slave to connect some other master with same channel parameters?
any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi Tech_Lion,

ANT master channels should NOT have identical channel parameters. This may cause undefined behavior to occur as you are running into here, and your slaves will be unable to identify between the two master channels.

Cheers
