Is it possible to develop and ANT / ANT+ gateway. The gateway should receive data from number of other ANT nodes (with sensors) and then communicate with some data sink (such as Xperia) using ANT+ at the same time?
Yes it is possible for you to develop an ANT/ANT+ gateway. Using an 8 channel ANT device allows you to establish 8 independent connections. ANT allows you to be a master (transmitter) or Slave (receiver) on each channel so for example you could connect to 4 ANT+ cycling sensors on their own receive channels and also connect to the Sony Ericsson Xperia as a transmitter on another channel.
