Hi,

I have used SetProximitySearch in order to prevent connection to the wrong device.

I have set up 1(search for the nearest vicinity) the second argument (SearchThreshold), we can not find the device.
The client device and the host device is trying to connect in the immediate vicinity.
I was able to set a value of at least 7 to the second argument, find the device.

Why can not I find the device even if it is set to 1?

Client device : Blood Pressure monitor
Host device : Phone      

A device’s range is heavily dependent on RF environment and system design (antenna design & orientation, device packaging, etc). The appropriate threshold for acquisition will depend on these factors, and requires thorough testing with the specific hardware in the system. The application note AN12 Proximity Search has a section on Design Considerations that provides more detail on this.
