I'm looking at an intermittent problem with a USB2 stick, using libusb under Linux. Appreciate it's not really a supported environment, but just wondering if it's an issue that might have been seen before in other environments.
Generally, everything works great. But on occasion, after the port is closed and re-opened, I get no responses from the USB stick. A USB trace shows the initial 0x4A system reset message is sent, but there is never a corresponding 0x6F startup message response. This probably happens once out of every 5-10 times that the port is opened..
Are there any common reasons why the device may not respond?
