Hello everyone,

I am new to this ANT+ development. I have a GARMIN Edge 500 Cycling GPS, which has ANT+ function to receive messages from my heart rate monitor and speed/cadence sensor. So it seems like this Edge 500 is only an ANT+ signal receiver. My question is that does it transmit any ANT+ signal in the meantime?

I have one ANT+ development kit. I can use its USB interface board and AP2 module to receive messages from my heart rate monitor. I am thinking that in case the Edge 500 also transmits ANT+ signal, I can pick it up by using the USB board+AP2 module, right? If I can set up this connection, what are the configurations?

Thank you very much.

You can find out what profiles are implemented by specific products in the Product Directory

It seems the Edge 500 only supports receiving data from heart rate, bike speed and cadence and bike power sensors.

Yep, exactly.
@kale618: what would you expect the Edge500 to transmit, anyway??
