Hi there,

On the first revision of my hardware I had a second radio operating at 868MHz which I used to send debug information. I was wondering if there is some sort of a USB stick with an ANT+ packet sniffer which I could use to send generic debug information to a laptop?

I would then be able to display extra information which I can't currently display on my Garmin Edge 500.

Hi Eoin,

Any ANT USB stick can be used to acquire ANT messages over the air. Any number of slave channels can acquire a transmitting master, or the use of Scan Mode will allow you to receive all messages on a particular network key and RF channel.

I would recommend looking into ANTware II which gives you a UI to interface generically with ANT devices on your PC, it will also save device logs of all messages it receives.

Cheers
