Crossover mode reverses the nibbles of incoming data messages so that the upper nibble affects the pins represented in the bottom nibble, and vice versa. This feature is intended to allow two SensRcore devices to interact directly with each other, so that the inputs on one device can affect the outputs on the other device.
You can think of crossover mode as analogous to serial null modem cables, with the transmit and receive lines â??crossed overâ?.
