Hi everyone,
I recently started exploring ANT+ technology for fitness and health tracking purposes, but I’ve run into a bit of a roadblock. I’m trying to connect an ANT+ heart rate monitor to my mobile phone, and I’m not sure if my device is fully compatible. I’m using a [phone model and operating system, e.g., Samsung Galaxy S22 running Android 12], but the connection doesn’t seem to work seamlessly.

Here are my questions:
Does my phone model support ANT+ natively, or do I need to download additional software like ANT+ Plugins Service?
If it’s not natively supported, would purchasing a USB ANT+ adapter be a better solution?
Are there any known compatibility issues with specific Android/iOS versions and ANT+ devices?
I’ve already checked the manufacturer’s site and ensured the heart rate monitor is functioning correctly, but I’m still having trouble getting a stable connection.
Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
