Connecting with Garmin (where the bike is sometimes shown as “Heart rate monitor” instead of “E-Bike” – which was also an issue with the older models) With Edge 530 it worked after a while to connect as E-Bike.
With Edge Explore 2 no connection. iConnectZ App connection works after many many tries.


Do you know why sensor is shows as heart rate monitor by GARMIN?

I think the reason is interference or signal loss. Interference from other devices, signal loss, or weak signal strength can also lead to incorrect sensor identification. Ensure that the sensor is in close proximity to the Garmin device and that there are no obstructions affecting the signal transmission.
