Building 64 bit Windows DLLs

I need a 64 bit version of the ant package for use in Unity, the 32 bit version currently available is not feasible to use. The other forum threads I've seen have instructed people to build from source targeting 64 bit. Has anyone done this successfully? A lot of the dependences are ancient and I haven't had any luck bringing it into the modern era.

Bike computers that advertise their interoperability with Ant+ or have the Ant+ logo are the best bet. As a result, the bike computer will be able to work in tandem with other devices, such as the Bontrager Speedtrap.

Huh? I have plenty of ANT+ devices that broadcast fine, my problem is compiling the csharp DLLs for use in 64 bit applications.

It sounds like you're tackling a tricky task! Building from source for a 64-bit version can be challenging, especially with outdated dependencies. Have you considered reaching out to the Unity community or forums? Someone might have found a workaround or could offer guidance. Don't hesitate to ask for help!

I get your frustration with needing a 64-bit version of the ant package for Unity. I had a similar issue and found a workaround that might help you. First, try searching GitHub for forks or newer versions of the ant package that mention 64-bit support. Sometimes other developers have already done the hard work. If that doesn't pan out, you could set up a 64-bit virtual machine or Docker container to create a clean environment for building the package from source without messing up your main system. Lastly, posting on specialized forums like Stack Overflow or Unity's own community can be really helpful. You might find someone who has already tackled this problem. Good luck!

Have you tried reaching out to the developers of the ant package to see if they have a 64-bit version available? It might also be worth exploring alternative build tools that are compatible with Unity and offer 64-bit support. If you're encountering difficulties with outdated dependencies, consider looking for community-maintained forks or updated versions of those dependencies.
