Are light-up emblems worth it for rideshare drivers?

I’ve been doing rideshare full-time for the past year, and I’ve seen a couple other drivers with light-up car emblems — usually on the front grille. It actually looked pretty slick, especially at night. I stumbled across LEDCarEmblem.com and was tempted, but before I buy, I’m wondering if anyone else here who drives Uber/Lyft has tried it? Does it make your car more noticeable or professional? Or just attract too much attention?

I drive part-time for Lyft and put one of those LED emblems on my Camry a few months back. Got it from light up car emblem the white glow looks super clean at night. Surprisingly, I’ve had a few riders compliment it or ask where I got it. It definitely makes your car stand out when pulling up, which can be helpful in busy areas.

Funny you ask, I added one to my Hyundai Sonata specifically because I do late-night shifts. It helps riders spot me faster, especially in dimly lit neighborhoods or after concerts. I was worried it might be “too much,” but it’s actually a nice touch. Based on reviews I read, make sure to wire it into your parking lights so it doesn’t stay on 24/7. So far, no issues, and it’s kind of become my signature look.
