Not a phone, but close enough. Does ant service and ant usb service from play store install and work on Nexus7? In addition if I plug in a ant usb2 into it can my apps use the current api? I've about had it wasting time trying to get a 4.2(jellybean) emulator working with the ant sdk(seems you have to use the custom one). I', considering just just buying a real Nexus7 device if the ant sdk and suuto usb2 stick will work with it.

Absolutely, the ANT USB Service and ANT Radio Service do install and run on the Nexus 7 with ANT USB2/USBm sticks, I regularly use it as a demo platform.

Unfortunately the emulator has not caught up yet with Android 4.2 due to significant changes to the underlying stack by Google.
