we have developed a solution to enable ANT+ on Android devices. We are member of the ANT Alliance and we have just launched the developer version in our store.

If you have built an Android application that uses the Android ANT APIs you won't need to change anything, it will just work. For example, the ANT+ Demo works without the need to change its source code or recompile it and so many other applications.

Wahooo!! Great news for non-Sony-Android-Phone users!
Although the device seems to be rather large and a bit pricey (the "Selfloops Connect Developer Edition" in the store on your web site).

Can it be expected that a production version will have both a smaller foot print and price tag?

thanks for the feedback. This accessory is not only an ANT+ enabler, but it is also a smartphone charger. That is the smartphone/tablet will also be charged when the accessory is powered up. The size is given by the battery rather than the actual electronics.
Feedback and comments are more than welcome. The production version will be improved with those.
