Hey guys,

I am using Windows 8, and I have an ANT USB Interface Board (with an ANT AP2 attached onto it). I am having trouble installing the driver for this. Whenever I plug it in, it can recognize that it is "Dynastream ANT USB Development Board" but has not drivers installed. I downloaded the ANT USB Interface Board Driver - Windows [version 1.2.40.201], and went to update the driver, and choose the location of the driver folder manually. However, when I try to install the driver, it gives me the following error:

Windows found driver software for you device but encountered an error while attempting to install it.

USB ANT USBXpress Device

The hash for the file is not present in the specified catalog file. The file is likely corrupt or the victim of tampering.

Could this be because of Windows 8? I have a Windows XP machine that is working with the development board. Let me know ASAP if any of y'all have found a solution for this.

Windows 8 forces you to use signed drivers, however, the drivers for the interface board are unsigned.

Please refer to the following links for instructions for installing unsigned drivers on Windows 8:

ETA: This is only an issue for the interface board. Signed drivers are available for commercial USB sticks. For the USB2 stick, the drivers are available through Windows Update, so the process is very straightforward for users.
