We are experiencing a series of communication problems when we have more than app. 20 Ant devices in the same room ( Ant+ Bike power devices used on indoor bikes ).
In order to track down the problems, a separate PC with a nRF24AP2-USB based USB dongle has been configured to listen to all communication by opening a channel in Rx Scan Mode with extended messages enabled.
The extended data returned puzzles me a bit:
The channel Id seems to be Ok.
The RSSi part always returns 0x10 for the measurement type ( never the 0x20 mentioned in the manual ) and the RSSI value is 0 or 1.
The time stamp part always returns 0 in the LSB part.

Now my questions:
What can be done to actually receive some RSSI values that can be used for anything?
Where does the time stamp originate? In the transmitter or the receiver?
Why is the LSB of the time stamp always 0?
The manual states the time stamp is based on a 32 kHz clock. Is this a 32000 Hz or a 32768 Hz clock?
The difference between timestamps for two successive messages are most of the time 2560 or 2304. How can this be translated into e.g. milliseconds?
