Hello There!

I was going through the ANT documents, and then,
I have a very newbie query on the section 5.2.4 Channel Period
from the calculation :

Channel Period Val = (32768 / MessageRate)

The query is: What is the 32768 ? What is its significance ?
Please help.

Hi Dinkar,

This has to do with the crystal oscillator (XO). See otherwise also the datasheet for the chip-set you are working with (or planning to use).

The value 32768 is for a frequency of 1 Hz.
