We use Android ANT+ SDK to connect and display ANT+ Data. We have a doubt regarding Bike Power sensor connection. Is there any way that we can fetch from SDK if a bike power sensor supports Wheel speed data or Cadence data? As far as we read Android ANT+ SDK Documentation, it says, if you don't receive any values from receiver after subscribing to Wheel Speed or Cadence data, then it means that sensor does not support it.

Is this the only way to detect if a power sensor supports wheel speed or cadence data from SDK?

According to the Android ANT+ SDK documentation, the only way to determine if a power sensor supports Wheel Speed ​​or Rotation Frequency data is to check if a value is received after registering the data. If no value is received, the sensor may not support it.
