I am investigating options for a project where a raspberry compute module should be used as the main processor. The project should also have ANT+ support. The software running on the module should be able to receive ANT message and parse them. Is this something which can be achieved natively? The RPI module has built in support for BLE. Or is it necessary to add an external chip? If yes, are there any recommendations for something which does not require extensive coding of kernel modules or am I better of by just connecting a cheap ANT usb stick to the module?
