ANT Capable Protocol Stacks for the Nordic Semiconductor nRF52 Series SOCs are now Available for Evaluation
ANT Wireless announces the availability of the alpha releases of the S212 ANT SoftDevice and the S332 ANT/BLE SoftDevice for the nRF52 Series SoCs. The ANT capable protocol stacks can be downloaded for evaluation from the ANT website: www.thisisant.com/developer/components/nrf52832.
Both of these stacks support scalable ANT channels (up to 15 channels), all with selectable encryption. The ANT transmit buffer size is also configurable in the alpha releases. BLE functionality in the concurrent ANT/BLE S332 SoftDevice is the same as provided in Nordic’s first alpha release of the S132 SoftDevice: 3 central + 1 peripheral connection, in addition to broadcaster and observer roles.
The first alpha versions of the ANT stacks are compatible with nRF52832 Engineering Revision A sample devices.
