ANT Protocol to Complement Nordic Semiconductor’s new nRF52
Nordic Semiconductor announced that it is sampling the first member of its next generation nRF52 Series of ultra- low power wireless solutions – the nRF52832 System-on-Chip (SoC). First ANT+ FE-C Enabled Fitness Products Enter the Market
On June 2nd, 2015, Tacx and Kinomap announced new wireless interoperability in their bike trainer products, marking the first market entry of products implementing the ANT+ Fitness Equipment Control (FE-C) device profile. Tacx has implemented the FE-C device profile in its Vortex Smart and Bushido Smart trainer models as well as its new indoor training software, while Kinomap has added FE-C support to its interactive training software, creating a new interoperable training opportunity. Critical Bytes
N5 Starter Kit SDK Version 3.0 and Update to OTA Updater
A new version of the N5 Starter Kit SDK has been released and is available for download. This update is designed to work with version 9.0.0 of the Nordic SDK. Existing reference code examples including the bootloader have been updated to work with SoftDevices s210 V5.0 and s310 V3.0 and new examples have been added including:
ANT Scalable Channels Demo
Shows how to setup up to 15 ANT channels.
ANT Scalable Encrypted Channels Demo
Shows how to setup up to 15 encrypted ANT channels.
ANT Scan and Forward Demo
Demonstrates an implementation of an ANT adhoc multi-node solution.
ANT Asynchronous Controller Demo
Demonstrates how to use continuous scanning mode to asynchronously send a message to the nearest device. Compatible with Scan and Forward Demo.

OTA Updater 1.2 has been released to support over the air updates using the new bootloader designed for SoftDevices s210 V5.0 and s310 V3.0. OTA Updater 1.2 is also backwards compatible with the bootloader designed for SoftDevices s210 V4.0 and s310 V2.0.

FIT SDK 15.20 Update
Version 15.20 of the FIT SDK is now available on the downloads page. Changes include a bug fix to float field sizes under Java and C. Listeners may now be unsubscribed in Java and support for fractional timestamps is now available in all SDKs.
